OOh Wan Chai

There is no place that screams cultural convergence like Wan Chai. As land develops in Wan Chai, newer, more modern buildings were constructed while older, Chinese style buildings remained. Because of this, a distinctive “old” and “new” zone of Wan Chai can be found. Different types of restaurants, shops and people can be found amongst these two zones. The government has tried to put effort to modernise some older buildings while trying to retain the unique culture. The area that shares a name with the district it belongs to has a population of 53,598.

The OOH billboards in Wan Chai are in the newer, business areas of Wan Chai near the main street Gloucester Road. The harbourfront area has a few popularly visited areas such as The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA), Blue House, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Lee Tung Street, and Golden Bauhinia Square. The Wan Chai population has a median age of 43.9 and median income of $15,000.
